Safe Toy Shopping For The Holidays

The holidays are approaching and Boston is going to busy with visitors. Retailers will open on thanksgiving to give shoppers a jump on their holiday shopping. Many people will also be buying items on line. The team at New England Eye Center  in Boston and The American Academy of Ophthalmology want to remind you to be cautious when choosing holiday gifts for young people.  According to the American Academy of Ophthalmology, roughly one in ten children’s eye injuries that end up in the emergency room are caused by toys. And let’s not forget those adults who get injured  eyes by popping champagne bottles! Keep the holidays safe and fun by following some helpful tips. See the attached document.
