William R. Sacco - Director of Operations
Mr. Sacco brings to New England Eye Center over 21 years of business experience. He joined Tufts-New England Eye Center in January 2005. Mr. Sacco oversees business operations for the Laser Vision Center and Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations for the New England Eye Center.
From December 2002 through December 2004, Mr. Sacco served as Director of Sales & Marketing Operations for CMI, Inc, a Network security and consulting firm in Tewksbury, Mass. From November 1997 to November 2001, he served as Vice President of Operations overseeing Customer Service, Call Center, Telecommunications and Information Technology throughout the United States for Pegasus Satellite Television, a leading provider of Satellite and Broadcast Television.
Linda Symanski - Patient Coordinator
Linda is a Patient Coordinator for New England Eye Center's Laser Vision Center. Linda handles a variety of duties including appointments scheduling, patient education, administration, patient and doctor liaison. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Newbury College in 2000. Since then, Linda has worked for both Mass Eye and Ear Infirmary and Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston supporting their surgery centers.
Amanda M. Bruce - Refractive Technician
Amanda is the Senior Refractive Surgery Technician. She has worked as a Certified Ophthalmic Technician at New England Eye Center since 1991. Amanda has 10 years of experience in refractive surgery and was the study coordinator for the FDA approval of excimer laser surgeries. She was previously employed at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and has worked in ophthalmology for the past 24 years.
Jean McGeary R.N. - Nursing Manager
Jean is the Nurse Manager at New England Eye Center. She received her Nursing Degree from Lawrence Memorial School of Nursing and her Bachelors Degree in Denver, Colorado. She is a Certified Registered Nurse in Ophthalmology and has been working with refractive surgery patients since 1987. Jean’s role is in educating and medicating patients.
