JULIE WETHERBEE: The impact was -- it was pretty awesome because the only thing I can compare it to is when you -- people that you normally can’t see and need glasses to see, like I needed them to see far away; so, I was nearsighted, it’s like waking up and you actually see your clock. Like it’s simple and like little as that sounds is I didn’t really need to reach for my glasses to, you know, see what time it was or something like that. And it just made everything easier when I was -- like I do a lot of snowboarding and, you know, swimming and surfing. And I didn’t have to worry about, you know, contacts and changing them and falling out or anything like that. So, it is just -- it’s pretty amazing. I talked to a bunch of different people because I have some friends that have gone to different places. At the time I was working for the Celtics and the New England Eye Center pretty much does all the Celtics’ players and I know like Jo Jo White, like a bunch of the front office there had the surgery. So, I talked to them. I came in for a bunch of consultations and they made me feel really comfortable about it. Leading up to the surgery, they do a lot of tests and just, you know, make sure that your eyes are okay especially with the custom. For me, I just think that I have really big eyes. So, it was one of those things where I probably needed custom. So, everyone is really nice throughout the procedure, you know, everyone was amazing. It was a little scary because it is your eyes and you’re always worried about anything, but I would absolutely do it again. I see better than 20/20 now. I love not having to wear contacts, not having to worry about glasses or anything, just waking up and being able to see. And so for me yes, I would do it again.
