LIA: I had the iLASIK and effects that have been on my life so far, well getting up and seeing the clock. I have to tell you the first time that happened was amazing. Being able to do your activities of daily life and not have to stop and make sure you glasses on or contacts in or something -- some other appliance to aid you is just like I can’t tell you unless you actually are impaired by having poor vision and then not. You honestly can’t imagine the difference it makes. You know, it was something I’d wanted to do for oh at least five or six years. You know, and at first it was pretty new and you’re not quite sure of the outcome, but after doing some research and really seeing how many people have done it with such positive outcomes, I looked into it a little further and I have had some keloiding in the past. So, that is why we went with the iLASIK instead of the traditional surgery because there is less chance of keloiding in that procedure and I can tell you I haven’t had any. It did somewhat impact in a very short period of time after the surgery that I had. Halos that’s around lights and although very pretty, were a bit bothersome, but resolved very, very quickly. And in the research I did into the surgery, that is something that is expected, but resolves within three or four days and really is quite minimal so that you don’t even -- you’re not even affected by it after about six months. I have a fifteen year old son who is unfortunately genetically disposed as his mother and his vision is impaired as well. And every few months it's, "Mom, when can I have the surgery, mom, when can I have the surgery?" And he’s very athletic, plays hockey, baseball, football, golf and is so looking forward to not having to put contacts in and wear glasses and all of those sorts of things. I think it will make a huge difference for him. It will change his quality of life.
